Rob Bennett is the founding member of Bennett, Jacobs and Adams, P.A., and has worked as a Florida workers’ compensation defense litigator for over 25 years. He actively litigates, advises clients and sits on the board of directors for a workers’ compensation insurance company.
While Rob has vast experience trying cases in front of judges of compensation claims, he first works with his clients to cost effectively and quickly resolve cases where possible without the need for final merits hearings. When resolution is not an option, Rob utilizes his investigation, litigation and negotiation skills to aggressively defend claims.
Rob has worked with his clients to develop policies and procedures to reduce and eliminate claims and, when they happen, to make claims more defendable and cost-effective. In this role, Rob has developed niche practices including:
- Implementing a proprietary approach to reducing major hospital bills. This approach has saved clients millions of dollars in addition to what their traditional bill-cutting services provide;
- Formulating drug and alcohol practices that allow employers to fully utilize Florida drug and alcohol defenses;
- Revising leasing company contracts, practices and procedures to allow leasing companies to better defend their claims and reduce fraud; and
- Aiding servicing agents to detect and better defend against claimant fraud.
